What the audit checks

141 checks. The ones that decide whether you're found.

Search engines judge a page long before anyone reads it. The audit reads your page the same way and weighs each check by what it can cost you, so the score points at the fixes that matter most for a small business.

Critical 13 checks

13 checks carry 22% of the score. Failing any one of them can keep a page out of search on its own: a noindex tag, a broken certificate, a robots.txt that blocks the page.

Plus 9 experimental checks on how AI assistants read the page, shown but never scored. 46 more checks in our full specification need a real browser, a full-site crawl or human judgment, so this audit lists them as not checked instead of guessing.

Questions.

Is the audit really free?

Yes. Your first three audits need nothing from you, not even an email, and you see every result in full. After that we ask for an email to keep the tool free of bots, and you keep auditing.

What does the audit look at?

The page you enter, as a search engine first reads it: the HTML, the response headers, robots.txt and the sitemap. It also makes a few quick requests to confirm things work (the http and www versions of your address, a handful of links and images, a missing page). It doesn't log in, submit forms or crawl the whole site.

Can I compare my site with a competitor's?

Yes. Choose Compare two sites and enter both addresses. Each site gets its own score from the same 141 checks, side by side, with where they're ahead and where you are. Your first comparison is free, no email needed.

Why might my score differ from other SEO tools?

Every tool weighs things differently. Ours runs 141 checks, weighted by how much each one can cost a small business in search, and tells you in plain English what to fix first.

What doesn't it check?

Our full audit specification has 188 checks. 141 run here. The other 46 need a real browser, speed data from real visitors, a crawl of many pages, or human judgment, so the results list them as not checked rather than guess. Anything not checked never counts toward your score.

Can you fix what it finds?

Yes. Most fixes take a day or two. Book a free call and we'll walk through your results, what we'd change first, and what it would take.
