The business
Modular Networks needed a website that could make network consulting understandable, credible, and actionable for growing businesses.
The business offer includes network evaluation, design, deployment, monitoring, and support, but the value needed to be expressed in operational terms: reliability, secure access, continuity, scalable growth, and confidence.
LaunchPoint Design shaped the site around practical business friction, then used technical scenarios and founder context to reinforce credibility.
The challenge
The core challenge was translation. The audience may not know whether they need VLAN design, access controls, monitoring, or infrastructure planning, but they do recognize slow applications, unreliable Wi-Fi, poor device communication, security concerns, and lack of visibility.
The site had to lead visitors from symptoms to services without forcing them to become networking experts.
It also needed to establish trust for a founder-led technical service business by presenting public proof, credentials, and a clear next step.
- Networking services can feel abstract to business owners until they are tied to operational pain.
- The site needed to show technical credibility without overwhelming visitors with jargon.
- The founder story, certification proof, and public lab work had to support trust without making the page feel like a resume.
- The conversion path needed to start with an evaluation rather than a vague sales conversation.
Strategy
The strategy was to anchor the page in recognizable business problems before introducing service categories.
The service architecture follows the natural order of the work: evaluate the environment, design around the business, deploy the foundation, then monitor and support it over time.
Technical depth is introduced through scenario cards and repository links, giving proof to visitors who want it while preserving a clean path for business owners who simply need help.
- Led with business outcomes instead of hardware or tool names.
- Structured services around evaluation, design, deployment, monitoring, and support.
- Used scenario cards to connect technical network design work to realistic business environments.
- Placed founder context and certification proof after service clarity to reinforce trust at the right point in the journey.
- Kept the primary CTA focused on a network evaluation to make the next step concrete.
What we built
- Built a single-page site with fixed navigation, section anchors, and mobile menu behavior.
- Created a hero that positions network consulting around business outcomes instead of technical complexity.
- Added guided cards for reliability, secure access, scalable growth, and visibility signals.
- Structured four service workstreams: evaluation, design, deployment, and monitoring/support.
- Presented realistic design scenarios with direct links to public GitHub repositories.
- Added founder context, portrait, and Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate proof.
- Implemented indexable page metadata, Open Graph tags, manifest icons, and canonical URL support.
- Included a focused final CTA around booking a network evaluation.
